Cancellation policy

1. The aministrator/management "Cottage CEDER" reserves the right to request from the guest when booking, a deposit of 50% of the whole rate of accommodation. The reservation becomes binding for the administrator/management only after receiving an advance payment to the administrator's/management account. 

2. The administrator/management is entitled to charge the following cancellation fees in the event that the guest cancels his reservation in written notice, electronically or by a telephone within the following periods: 

The guest can cancel the reservation of accommodation 45 days prior arrival without cancellation fees. *

If canceled or modified prior 44 days before date of arrival, 10% of the total rate of the reservation will be charged. **

If canceled or modified prior 30 days before date of arrival, 30% of the total rate of the reservation will be charged. **

If canceled or modified prior 14 days before date of arrival, 50% of the total rate of the reservation will be charged.**

If canceled or modified prior 8 days before date of arrival, 70% of the total rate of the reservation will be charged. **

If canceled or modified prior 3 days before date of arrival, 100% of the total rate of the reservation will be charged. **

* During the time of an ongoing pandemic, it is not possible to return the advanced payment in the form of funds. The deposit is converted into a voucher, which may be used for your stay within the period of one year time. In exceptional cases, the duration of the voucher may be prolonged, after a written agreement and confirmation by the Management.

** In the situation that it is not possible for the Management to provide the reservation of the accommodation or the services due to the fact that they are prohibited or restricted by the regulations of ÚVZ SR, it is possible to cancel the reservation without any cancellation fees. The deposit paid is converted into a voucher, which may be used for any stay within the period of one year time from the date of cancellation of the former reservation.

Cancellation conditions for services reserved for the period "HIGH SEASON" New Year's Eve, in terms between 27.12. - 9.1. of the given year and for the period of Easter, in the periods between Maundy Thursday and Easter Monday: 

• the reservation of Services for the New Year's Eve and Easter period is subject to the obligationsof the Guest to pay in advance the full payment of the reservation in the amount of 100% (one hundred percent) of the rate of the whole reserved Services.**
• if the Guest cancels the Agreement for Services booked for the New Year's Eve and Easter period, regardless of the time of cancellation of the Agreement by the Guest, the Operator/Administrator/Management is not obliged to return the advanced payment paid to the Guest.**

** In the situation that it is not possible for the Management to provide the reservation of the accommodation or the services due to the fact that they are prohibited or restricted by the regulations of ÚVZ SR, it is possible to cancel the reservation without any cancellation fees. The deposit paid is converted into a voucher, which may be used for any stay within the period of one year time from the date of cancellation of the former reservation.

In case of booking for larger groups, the cancellation policy defers, for more information it is necessary to contact the operator/administrator/ management.
